Your first driving lesson if you have never driven before. After you have gon gone through the Cockpit drills is, moving off and stopping.

I only teach in an automatic car so I will be talking for automatic driving lessons.

The first thing you need to do is after your Cockpit drills is to start the car.

Once the car is srarted you then need to engage your gears to drive.

At this point you are now ready to move. So firstly check your left door mirror, your centre mirror, then your left door mirror, and finally your blind spot.

Once you have done this you can then release your handbrake and stear slight to the right to move to the centre of your lane.

Now your moving you need to start about stopping.

So the first thing you need to do is find a safe place to stop. Once you have found one as you approach check your centre and left door mirror, then indecate if you can see someone or something that will benefit from your signal.

Then as you approached the kerb steering to the right to bring you parallel to the kerb. The once straight start to squeeze the break until you stop.

Then once you have stopped apply the handbrake put the gears in to neutral then turn the indicator off and relax.

You have now done it once and you would be repeating it until you are doing it with no help from your driving instructor.

I hope this helps you with your driving lesson
